This would be Ice Nine Kills' biggest headlining tour to date in the United States, and they really went all out to make this an amazing tour. I mean, when it comes to films, that's definitely up there. Heavy metal and horror movies go together like cheese and fine wine, so why not combine them into one entity? SHADDIX Oh man, so I've got a funny story about how I became a singer. While you're on that stage, that crowd is yours — go kill it. ' I've always wanted to ask you, what are the bands that got you into wanting to be a rock vocalist? "It took a while for us to find our groove, and get the right kind of songs that we were really proud of together. I love the energy they have on the stage when singing songs. Charnas is excited to see other artists embrace their music and show support. On the opposite end of that spectrum, songs like Stabbing In The Dark (Halloween), Merry Axe-Mas (Silent Night, Deadly Night) and Rocking The Boat (Jaws) hit hard with fun guitar riffs, energetic drumming, and some unclean vocals we've rarely seen from Charnas. They make the movies you love come to life before your eyes. Their production is so stunning, entertaining, and just makes you want to go insane. I think it has some really cool stylistic elements within it, so I was wondering, when you went into the studio to actually put this album together: did you go in with a solid idea for each song, or was it a continuous process that had to be worked at a little bit? And Awake At Last delivered a flawless set with ease as the opening act. CHARNAS I did on a very low level in terms of, I went to camp and there would be a production of, I don't know, Grease or something, and I would be in the chorus line or something like that, but I never went hard at the theater stuff. The group originally pursued a style of ska-punk into their own innovative blend of rock, but have since shifted into a style which has been described as theatricore, metalcore, melodic hardcore, post-hardcore, heavy metal, symphonic metal. For me, it's just fun.
