I've been putting this off but my aunt forced me to read it, so here I am🤣 I know this author is a fan of ow/om drama, so thankfully I was prepared, and while the first 20% was annoying, I did end up really enjoying the book and loving Hayes. In the near future, a wave of solar flares has rendered the world's power grids useless. The contempt these two characters had for each other sizzled, their banter was epic, and the spice, although not at the forefront (which I actually liked) was hot hot hot. Knox had more time to grapple with his guilt and priorities, but had to bend the lion's share of his energy and thoughts to surviving and ensuring the Silver Devil's also survived. How he fell in love with h's character. I have some new favorites (Dani and Rafe) and a few I can't wait to find out more about.

Luckily for her, Daphne was with her in every step of the way and once she got better and it was time for them to leave, they realized they didn't really want to. This would be perfect on the big screen. Daphne and Mingo are in trouble! When the two finally find him, Emmett does what he should have done a long time ago: apologize to Bay for using her story, and their relationship, as a basis for his movie. It was a beautiful moment between the whole family and these are the moments that Switched at Birth does really well. This combined with the cold, chilling horror that I experienced throughout the whole novel was that like I have never experienced.
