It seems liek it's not working bu then out of nowhere it'll jump up to 5 then the needle will just stay there. The most common positions to mount a boost gauge are the A-pillar, on the steering column, around the instrument binnacle or in various nooks and crannies throughout the dashboard. So why is the intake manifold best, you ask? I was wondering which vacuum line is best to get a clean/non-interuptive signal for a boost gauge. The sending unit comes with an adapter so it can be Teed into a reference line. Have to have a load on the motor before it builds up boost. Wish I could help with this but I took it apart in March and can't remember where the hoses where hooked up. I'm wondering if I chose the best one for MAP. View attachment 151090. exactly the best way to learn. 2nd port goes to RRFPR and Tee's off to the BOV. You may only plan in running 10 psi but you should build it as if you plan on 20.
