We were given a 2nd password to try, and were told to try the unlocked wifi at the neighboring condo complex. Many new finger piers and unlike most marinas on our two week trip, Half moon marina is very clean and well taken care of.

This will not be the fanciest marina you will ever stay at, but absolutely the friendliest and memorable. I think I may anchor out next time through here…unless forced by weather. The manager has a list of independent mechanics that are available, in case your boat requires repairs. Expensive for what you get. The Dockmaster, Steve was excellent, very friendly and helpful. Steve, the dock master, was so very helpful too. Steve does what he can as dock master but facilities are limited: one shower each in men's and women's rooms; same mildewed curtain as 3 months ago. Overall we were pleased with Half Moon Bay. Disconected after that. The marina is located near quite a few amenities. Galli implemented a routine plan to re-treat the injection wells every 4 to 5 weeks for a total of four treatments. Our centralized location in Croton-on-Hudson, New York offers very easy access to West Point Military Academy, the Culinary Institute, Sleepy Hollow Cemetary, FDR Estate, Rockefeller Estate, Cold Spring, and especially New York City. You can't miss the dam! Ocean House Seafood restaurant was amazing as was the Greek restaurant, Piato. Helpful and friendly staff, beautiful surroundings on the Hudson River. The docks are extremely well maintained and the wifi is at a very fast speed to allow for streaming. A large CVS as well as other pharmacy/stores are within 2 blocks. Located just 20 miles north of the George Washington Bridge, Half Moon Bay Marina is a must see stop on the Hudson River for vessels both large and small. Thanks again Steve for everything...... We called ahead to let Steve know we were going to be early. There is also a Laundromat next door. Right next to the Croton Point Beach. Great stop on our way South aboard our 34 foot sailboat. Easy walk to Croton on Hudson. Beautiful marina, good location and very friendly and welcoming dock master. The entire vibe at the marina is amazing and the views and beauty of the Hudson Valley from the marina is simply outstanding.
