Let the Sweet Peach vs Just Peachy Mattes battle begin! B) Too Faced has/had a reputation on inconsistent and not top quality eye shadows, so is this new palette any good? These look identical to me. However, I was surprised to find that half of the shades were soft and powdery, and some produced a bit of kickup – these ones in particular had great colour payoff. A medium-dark, red-brown with warm undertones and a matte finish. The Just Peachy mattes on the other hand, has 3 bone colour options, 5-6 transition colour options, no shimmers and 4 smoking out options. The expensive brands often put more of the good stuff in like pigmentation and the cheaper brands cut corners there. It's a palette well worth the money! The eyeshadows are supposed to be pigmented and long-lasting, and according to the Sephora website, it has an "exclusive comfort matte technology for blendable, intense color-payoff". On the flip side, Morphe shadows swatch great on me, but the more I used them, the more I found they irritated my eyes. They flow nicely and complement each other perfectly as you can see from the palettes below. Fresh-Picked: A light terracotta peach, this shade is even and nicely pigmented. Their shadows are buttery, velvety and highly pigmented.

Finding a budget dupe for both the Pat McGrath Subliminal Palette and the Smashbox Double Exposure proved a little more difficult. These palettes are versatile and fun! It's a medium-dark, purple with warm undertones and a touch of sparkle over a matte finish. The scent of the palette is described as peaches and sweet fig cream. In this look, I used Peach Tea as a transition shade, then applied Peach Butter all over the lid. Their prices though are the reason why we are duping them! Right off the bat, I noticed that these shadows do not smell nearly as sweet as that of the Sweet Peach Palette. Green is one of those colours that are a little tricky to get right in eyeshadow.
