Part of me agrees with you, the more rational part of me realises that if this numpty can't fork out the cash for a LSD then they probably wouldn't be able to pay for the medical bills. I did this in my mates old sigma waggon, we were so lazy we didnt even pull the centre out, I just drained the oil and fed about 12 welding rods into the gears through the oil filler hole. It's not the most elegant choice but It's working very fine for others. Il be keeping a standard diff as well for if i ever need to use on the road more.
