Don't overinflate deflate and lube and reinflate, over and over again if you have Ellen kicks ass - if she had a beard it would be much more haggard.
Trust me, atv tires aint that flimsy. There's about a 6-8" section that needs to go less than an 1/8" to fully seat. This will soften the rubber and make it easier to seat the bead. Ratchet straps are great, but ive seen them explode and do serious damage while seating a bead more than a few times. You should hear a loud POP. The side of the tire is about 1/4 inch from the lip of the rim, I tried different rims and the same thing happened, they really don't look very wide for 11s either, I've tried blowing them up to about 30 with soapy water all around and it still does the same thing. I have had Tubeless tires come off the shelf, but only at crazy low, near unridable pressure, like >20psi for a 25c tire. Mount the second bead, pump up the tire, done. Failing that, some starting fluid and a match or torch-be careful! 3/4s the tire seats to the wheel and even with 60+ lbs of air the bastards still wont fully seat.
