To date, out of the more than 200 students who have come to our training courses and struggled with locking the slide back due to incorrect techniques, all of them have been able to lock the slide back when using this method. Then I realized the slide lock tab is behind. Already cleaned and saw what you are talking about. If the slide isn't all the way back, the two parts won't match up. It means loading, unloading, and/or clearing malfunctions. Most of the time the instruction they received in the past is the reason they are struggling to lock the slide back.
