Nothing happens in this movie, nothing. Before going to see the movie, I thought I was not going to enjoy it becase it was other Hunger Games and Divergent, but I was wrong. When I saw the trailer of this movie I thought it would be a median action movie, but no! However, after seeing this film, I was mindblow. No Another year, another generic young adult novel adaptation. Audience: boys' night, teens, girls' night. The whole time I was thinking, "What about the man of her dreams that she is a scene away from meeting?! I guess the first three waves were so dramatic. I found myself enjoining the movie. Most of the people who say this movie is bad or at least not entertaining probably didn't go see the film, because the film might have its flaws but everyone must admit they were entertained for at least a small bit. From what I'd seen on the trailers, it looked like another Hunger Games/Divergent. With an outstanding lineup featuring Denzel Washington, Gary Oldman, and Mila Kunis, this film draws expertly on the Western genre to deliver a hugely compelling watch. These two waves are designed to weed out the weak and feeble. It's almost laughable. Movies like the 5th wave based. The actions are well paced and awesome. Don'tpay any minds to critics; they don't know anything.
I'll just say the ending left much for me to desire. I cannot stress enough how boring this was. Cause if the book is like this than what the f*ck are some people reading. That speeks for it self.
