Not having cared about Simon's story in Fangirl, I still don't care about Simon's story now in a fleshed-out book. Everything that I loved about Rainbow Rowell's books (i. e. writing, characters) were missing. Which was what the author wanted to do, I suppose. It ruined my momentum because I had to stop and recover from it. I can always count on her books to cheer me up. In short: She is amazing and Simon was more than just lucky to have her at his side!!! Me and 2016, see, we were good. She lives in Omaha, Nebraska. I love reading specifically stories that involve a romance between two male characters. I love how clever and funny and strong Penny is and I also really appreciated her relationship with her mom. ✨ I don't even blame her for running like she did.
